AAVATtype Launch Master Plan

The consumer proving ground that ships first and proves the one personality backbone, before the premium B2B brand AAVATAI launches clean on top. This is the full work plan: phases, dated timeline, task-by-task breakdown, owners, effort and the honest time to a first dollar.

Owners: Nicola Harvey · Aziza · Zara  |  Rewritten 27 June 2026 (six-HEXACO model)  |  Living document

The pivot this plan is built on

The product moved from eight Big-Five archetypes to six HEXACO signature types. The eight-archetype, 9-dollar version is superseded. The design move: measure on dimensions, narrate with named types, render as a unique configuration.

Measure honestly on HEXACO (the validated six-factor model, public-domain IPIP items), narrate with six named types, always show the real scores. Six is not arbitrary: each type is the one factor a person stands out on most, plus a secondary "shade" for 30 combinations without 30 boxes.

Naming option A — the grounded set

The Compass · Honesty-Humilitythe one you can trust
The Heart · Emotionalitythe one who feels it first
The Spark · eXtraversionthe one who lights the room
The Bridge · Agreeablenessthe one who holds us together
The Builder · Conscientiousnessthe one who gets it done
The Explorer · Opennessthe one who sees what's next

Naming option B — the signature words (latest, in the live-signature prototype)

Virtuous · Honesty-Humilitytrue all the way through
Layered · Emotionalitythe one who feels it first
Radiant · eXtraversionthe one whose energy fills the room
Temperate · Agreeablenessthe one who steadies the room
Resolute · Conscientiousnessthe one who does not waver
Expansive · Opennessthe one always reaching further

Names recommended, not locked; the factor mapping is fixed, the names are swappable and need trademark clearance. "Radiant" is flagged for a second look (close to beauty and skincare language). Vera maps to the Emotionality or Agreeableness type, to reconcile at sign-off.

The three hard anchors

1Thesis & the moat

A warm quiz that reflects the highest version of you back, where Co-Star trolls you.

Measure honestly on HEXACO, narrate with six named types, then show the full configuration across six lenses, so nobody gets boxed and everybody gets a portrait. The avatars are the salesforce, not the product. The customer buys a ladder of multi-lens reports plus a portable self-file that makes their own AI know them.

The real moat is the backbone. Every quiz-taker produces one machine-readable profile "genome" (HEXACO scores with bands, lens scores, headline type + shade). It renders their coded signature, seeds their own AI (the AAVATme upsell), and, with consent, feeds the anonymised dataset that makes AAVATAI's personas real. One backbone, two brands, a compounding data asset.

The six lenses (behind Your Full Pattern)

The validated measured backbone is five frameworks (HEXACO, Attachment/ECR, BIS/BAS, SDT, Schwartz), per Zara's Theory Measurement Overview and the Strand Signature brief. Thinking modes, strengths and the story layer are derived or reflective report content, not separately scored instruments.

3Where we actually are honest read, verified 27 Jun 2026

The decisive fact: what is BUILT runs the OLD eight-pattern Big-Five model. The NEW six-HEXACO model is fully designed (the spec is complete) but not yet built into the live funnel. Phase 1 is a migration, not an invention.

✓ Built (old eight-pattern model)

  • Quiz engine + Big-Five scoring, free result, share card
  • 8 old Core Reports (report-data.mjs)
  • Teams Kit keystone (re-map to six types)
  • KDP books + Day 0-7 emails (re-map)
  • Brand voice guide, live (current)
  • Marketing engine + Living Signature hook video

□ Designed, not built (Phase 1)

  • Six-HEXACO engine + 30-item IPIP doorway quiz
  • Profile genome schema + six lenses + Your Full Pattern
  • AAVATme Mode 1 self-file generator
  • Living Signature coded rendering
  • Three-tier checkout (19/29/49)

⚠ Cross-cutting gaps

  • Human gates: psychology sign-off, six-type naming lock, trademark clearance
  • Science gate: instrument pilot on 50-150 people (alpha & 2-week retest at or above 0.70)
  • Money rails: Stripe placeholders; Resend + Brevo not connected
  • The face: Vera's LoRA not locked, public/avatars empty
  • The data wall: two opt-ins + AAVATtype-to-AAVATAI separation, from day one

4The critical path & the honest time to a first dollar

Nicola and Claude can build the whole funnel in roughly 3 to 4 weeks, and the build starts the moment the three founders agree the full concept. The launch date is not set by build time, and not by any one person's capacity. It is set by one thing:

  • Three-way agreement between Nicola, Aziza and Zara on the full concept (the model, the six names, the scope, the brand). Right now the team can only meet on weekends, so concept decisions move at the pace of the weekend syncs. That is the real constraint.
  • The validation pilot on the science side, whose two-week retest window is the one unavoidable elapsed-time item. It runs in parallel as soon as the instrument is agreed.

The fix is simply to get the full concept agreed at the next sync; then the build proceeds straight away. With agreement reached promptly, the realistic earliest honest soft launch is early-to-mid August 2026, with the proof event running mid-August to end September, which fits the hard anchor of AAVATAI launching at end September. The trademark filing and the co-venture MOU run alongside and must clear before any public claim and the first sale, not before the build.

Phase 0 — Sign-off, Science & Foundations30 Jun – 25 Jul (4 wks)
Clear the master gate and de-risk the science. The team (Nicola, Aziza, Zara) agrees the full concept and locks the six names at a weekend sync (team meeting time is what paces this); Nicola signs off the psychology immediately; the validation pilot runs (the 2-week retest is the one elapsed-time pole); Claude runs the trademark clearance and drafts the MOU. Build starts in parallel the moment the concept is agreed.
Phase 1 — The Migration Build30 Jun – 1 Aug (~5 wks, parallel)
Migrate the funnel from eight Big-Five patterns to the six-HEXACO model: the scoring engine, the 30-item quiz, the genome schema, the free signature, Your Full Pattern report, the AAVATme self-file, the Living Signature renderer, and the three-tier checkout. Item-writing for the paid instrument is gated by the sign-off; everything structural is not.
Phase 2 — Soft Launch & Private Beta4 – 17 Aug (2 wks)
Ship the minimum sellable funnel (quiz + free signature + Essential and Full Pattern tiers + AAVATme self-file in Tier 3 + order bump + emails + one type-avatar). Run the private beta cohort for proof and testimonials. The first dollar is possible here.
Phase 3 — The Proof Event18 Aug – 30 Sep (~6 wks)
Prove the backbone and the funnel. The re-mapped Teams kit to the first warm caring-sector org, Full Pattern and Full Pattern + AI sales off organic and Pinterest, order bumps. Aim at about 1,000 dollars a month. AAVATAI launches clean on the proven backbone by end September.
Phase 4 — In-Person Sprint to the Visa Wall1 Oct – 31 Dec
Front-load everything that needs the team together. Finish the avatar gallery for more types, deepen the lenses, re-map and publish the books, build the consented dataset, batch the content bank, run the in-person team workshop, and lock a solid remote operating rhythm before Aziza and Zara relocate.
Phase 5 — Distributed & the 2027 RoadmapJan 2027 onward
Run remote. The hosted AAVATme companion subscription, the couples and team modes, our own norms, AAVATtwin (the avatar face of you), and the "Sign in with your Self" identity layer.

7Effort summary & the real constraint

The build is not the constraint

The build work (Workstream C plus the writing in A, B, E) totals roughly 6 to 8 focused weeks of effort, but it parallelises and most of it is not gated. The funnel is buildable in 3 to 4 weeks of wall-clock, and Nicola can start the moment the concept is agreed.

Nicola is NOT the bottleneck

She can move on the sign-off, the build, the accounts and her own avatar setup immediately. The real constraint is three-way agreement between Nicola, Aziza and Zara on the full concept, and right now the team can only meet on weekends, so concept decisions move at the pace of the weekend syncs. Lock the concept at the next sync and the build proceeds straight away.

The one unavoidable elapsed-time item is the two-week retest pilot on the science side. It cannot be compressed, so kick it off as soon as the instrument is agreed. Earliest honest soft launch: early-to-mid August 2026. Proof event to end September. The team-in-Australia window (to 31 December) is the hard deadline for all avatar production.

8Risks & guardrails

This week's next actions

  1. The team (Nicola, Aziza, Zara): get the full concept agreed at the next weekend sync, the model, the six-name lock and the scope. This is the master gate; team meeting time is what paces it.
  2. Nicola (can do now): the psychology sign-off; set up Stripe, Resend and Brevo; the three-tier pricing + order bump.
  3. Claude (legal research + drafting): run the trademark clearance searches and draft the co-venture MOU and the claims wording.
  4. Nicola + Aziza: line up the 50-150 pilot respondents so the two-week retest can start as early as possible.
  5. Zara: build the lead avatar in ComfyUI and share the ComfyUI config so Nicola can emulate it on her own M5 setup with free local models.
  6. Claude, gate-free now: assemble the pilot instrument; build the six-HEXACO engine, the 30-item quiz, the genome schema and the free signature; the AAVATme self-file generator; re-map the Teams kit, books and emails; build the share-card generator and the micro-quiz; pre-fill the @aavattype handles; 301-redirect the typo domains.
